Okaaaaay, so the boyish-faced-babygirl is me. And yesterday was my 18th birthday. Yaaaaay! *claps*
Unfortunately, yesterday was my 1st day of "moon-visiting". PLUS, all my family didn't remember my birthday at all. What a gloomy morning i had. *sigh
First thing that came up to my mind was: Yeah, i never expect anything from my birthday. It's not my family's tradition to celebrate birthdays. But please, could you guys just say "Happy Birthday"? It's only 2 words, but it means a lot.
At school, i only got slaps from my friends. Now that's a tradition. Slapping 18 times in the cheek.
Man, it hurts!
It's quite awkward when everybody shakes your hand and says "Happy Birthday", isn't it? I don't really like that awkward moment.
But i do like and appreciate you guys' wishes. :)
And i don't think they "do" remember my birthday. =/ i think they were just following when others greeted me and and slapped me. But that's alright, since i don't remember their birthdays too. :p
Thanks to facebook as my birthdays reminder
Okay, enough with the story about my gloomy birthday yesterday.
Today is just like my greatest day ever. Well, not that great actually. Kidding, you guys!!!! :p Seriously, today's is a blast.
All my friends acted awkwardly towards me today. Well, i'm feeling it actually. They talked to each other with low voices and avoided an eye contact with me. I was just like: "Think they don't want to talk to me right now. Fine, not in the mood to talk either."
When the school was over, we usually gather in the school's cafeteria and chit chat while having our lunch. The strange thing was, they started to disappear one by one. "I gotta go, sorry!" <<>
Now it's just me, Serly, and busy Meutia sitting there.
Finally, they returned. Again, awkwardly. (Haha! You guys can't act. :DD) They approached me and made a line (It's 100% weird and awkward). They shouted: "Happy Birthday, Nita!" and the slapping tradition began again. They gave me a gift. It's quite big and fluffy. It's a pillow. Of course. "It's so fluffy i'm gonna dieeeeeeeeeee!!!"
I AM THE HAPPIEST GIRL ON EARTH!
Thank you you guys! :* It means a lot, really! And i really grateful that Allah gives me wonderful and caring friends like you guys. And thanks to my parents and family too! Tho they didn't give me any present, but their wishes and prayers are greater than a gift. :'))
I LOVE MY PARENTS!
I LOVE MY FRIENDS!
THAAAAAANKS!!
