4 months has passed. They're coming with the new concept now. They said they went from boys to men. D-NA who has returned with their mini-album 'Awake' has grown more as men. They used to be innocent boys, charming, cute, and sweet boys, but now it's replaced with rebel, manly, and charismatic image. This mini-album's concept means 'awaking from boys to men' and is a great change. | omonatheydidnt
I don't really admire Admirable Boys song because yeah it's too soft and such a whiny song. It's not my style. I just love to see Karam in that MV and that's it. I never knew the lyric, or even sang it. don't match with me.
Anyways, D-NA nowadays has changed a lot. whoaaaaa! it makes me dazzled! They look totally different. They used to have the color of white (you know what i'm talking about. they used the color of white to show their purity heart and cuteness) and now they have the color of dark! It just fits them. Seeing them in gloomy and serious expression is awesome. They look good in fierce look. With the football outfits they wore, GOD it's just BANGing ME! XDD
They had a interview about their new concept a few days back and here it is:
"To show an adolescent's rebelling image, we tried to express the period of sweeping winds and rough waters. Rather than a completely manly appearance, it's more like being still young but on the way of becoming a man."
From 'older brother' Mika(20), to Karam(19), Hyumin(19), Injun(18) and the 'youngest' Jau(17), the album concept seems to "be liked" by everyone and is a satisfying image.
This change doesn't exactly make us uncomfortable or awkward. Rather than the shining 'Admirable Boy' activities, I think we have met a song that fits us better. Hyunmin and I have still used our own charisma during 'Admirable Boy'. We got into trouble a lot because our style of nature was that we didn't smile a lot." (Mika)
'Rather than the concept before, I feel I am more confident with this concept. In reality, it also seems like I really am on the way of becoming a man. Even our youngest Jay, who when I first saw was very mischievous and cute, seems to be rebelling more, and seems to have a more pronounced sensitivity. From a young feeling to a growing image, it is this kind of image that is put in the album." (Hyunmin)
"We all have our own dreams and we are racing after it. Because this album has a different concept to the concept before, and also because we have so much more to show everyone, we felt more of an attachment while doing this. Because we knew that we have to try our best, we are keeping control of our thoughts." (Mika)
The reporter asked D-NA of their goals this year. Their goal from the interview 3 months ago have not changed as they replied that wanted to "win the Newcomers award".
"We really want to win the Newcomers award. This award is only something you can win once so we want to try our best this year and reach our goal."
I hope their dreams become true. Go and win the Newcomers Award, boys! you can do it! FIGHTING! >:D
